Counter Doors

Overhead Door Corporation™s rolling counter doors provide a multitude of attractive solutions for smaller openings to 18™4″ wide and 8™4″ high (5588mm and 2540mm). Ideal for a host of applications in commercial, retail, corporate and professional environments, our comprehensive system of counter doors encompasses three basic types — metal curtain, wood curtain and integral frame and sill.

Fire Doors

Overhead Door Corporation offers a wide array of rolling steel doors to meet the most demanding fire safety standards, unusual opening sizes and discerning aesthetic requirements. Designed to close automatically in the event of a fire or alarmed event, our fire-rated doors are available for service door and counter applications in commercial, industrial, institutional and retail uses. All doors comply with NFPA-80, and are listed for both masonry and non-masonry applications — including installation to wood or steel jambs within drywall. The Fire Sentinel™ time-relay release mechanism provides an added measure of safety to control the doors’ closure. Also available is the Fire Minuteman™ Chain Reset Hoist, designed to eliminate the need to release a fire door’s spring tension on fire drop mode and allows one person to reset the door from the floor.

Rolling Service Fire Doors

The 630 / 631 / 634 Series rolling steel, fire-rated service doors offer superior protection wherever a listed fire door is required. Common applications include factories, warehouses, mills, distribution centers and parking garages. Customized fire doors are available for conveyor openings. These doors feature fusible links mounted on both sides of the wall that separate to automatically close the door. Added protection features, such as Fire Sentinel™ and FireLite™ vision lites are optional.

Rolling Service Insulated Fire Doors

The FireKing™ is a commercial rolling insulated fire door that offers the triple benefits of insulation, fire protection and sound attenution; this one door eliminates the need for separate fire and insulated doors. FireKing™ has many product features that enhance its performance, including: UL, FM, New York City MEA, California CSFM and Optional “S” smoke label with up to four hour labels for both UL and FM. This means Overhead Door’s FireKing™ Insulated Fire Door is available in four hours for masonry and three hours for non-masonry walls. An “R” value of 4.5 means FireKingTM serves as a thermal barrier, perfect for applications which require separation because of climate control requirements while at the same time it can be used as a Fire Door opening. The mineral wool insulation material is compressed within the slat, completely and uniformly filling the slat for maximum insulation. FireKing’s™ Smoke and Flame index of 5″ is provided by mineral wool slat inserts. FireKing’sTM STC (Sound Transmission Class) of 23 is ideal for applications that require sound control. Overhead Door’s Insulated Fire Door can be used anywhere Sound Attenuation, Insulation and Fire / Smoke Protection (optional) is required making FireKing™ a very efficient and effective door.

Counter Fire Doors

The 640 and 641 Series doors are ideal for openings requiring a counter-type fire-rated door. Common applications include factories, schools, concessions, hospitals, cafeterias and retail settings. Labeled with either a 3-hour Class A rating for masonry applications, or a 1-1/2-hour Class B label in non-masonry fire walls, these doors are designed to expand upward in a fire, allowing the guides to be installed flush with the sill. Their compact, box-like form also provides an attractive finished appearance that requires minimum sideroom. The 640 Series has exposed components made of primed galvanized steel while the 641 Series exposed components are of stainless steel.

Integral Frame & Sill Fire Counter Doors

The 660 / 661 / 662 Series integral frame counter fire doors provide a handsome finished appearance for a variety of applications, including food service counters. Available for opening sizes up to 9′ x 4′ (2743mm x 1219mm), these doors carry a UL 1-1/2-hour Class B label and are factory assembled as a complete unit with fully welded frames. The frame comprises 16-gauge jambs and header, and is complemented by a 14-gauge sill, plus hood and fascia. Added protection features, such as Fire Sentinel™ are available as options.

Security Grilles

Overhead Door Corporation’s security grilles provide an array of attractive solutions for a spectrum of retail, commercial and industrial applications. Our side-folding grilles boast the shortest stacking dimension of any grille available today, and feature a handsome clear anodized finish (standard) in a variety of patterns and optional colors. We also offer a complete line of upward-coiling grilles. Constructed of aluminum, stainless or galvanized steel — with optional electric motor — these grilles are designed for durability and easy operation. Our comprehensive line of security grilles affords both reliability and peace of mind.

Side-Folding Full Enclosure

Overhead Door Corporation’s side- folding full closure grilles are ideal for applications that require a secure barrier against theft and debris, such as retail applications in malls and airport concourses. The Full Closure side folding grille product line includes four panel materials: perforated steel, clear polycarbonate, tempered glass and aluminum. All four models are available in both standard-body and wide-body versions.
